Your sailing vacation can start with the direction of Sipanska Luka (the port of Sipan) - right after passing the strait between Jakljan and Sipan and heading southeast into the bay, you will reach your destination. The length of this sailing route is approximately 15 NM. Although a relatively large island, Sipanska Luka provides good shelter from all winds and was recognized by the medieval Dubrovnik nobility for its natural beauty and picturesque countryside.

The second day may take you 35 NM are to lead you to the island of Korcula. Favorable west-northwest winds in the Mljet channel can contribute to an exciting sailing experience, while an archipelago of small islands just in front of Korcula can offer numerous coves and beaches appropriate for swimming and snorkeling in crystal clear turquoise waters.

Another 25 NM west-southwest and you will reach the island of Lastovo. The island is located 7 NM south of the island of Korcula and 16 NM west of the northern cape of the island of Mljet and hides some fascinating snorkeling and diving spots.

Another 27 NM northeast will take you to Polace on the island of Mljet. Aside from nice anchorages and the famous salt lakes, there is a national park just a few minutes walk from the Pomena waterfront. The island is known for its forests, natural ports, fresh-water springs, coves, diving sports, caves, as well as historic sites dating from ancient times.
