Malta is a popular sailing destination in Malta. The prevailing wind is from 3 to 5 Beaufort with a direction most often from North. It is a suitable sailing destination for Intermediate and Advanced sailors, as the sea is usually Smooth to Rough. The charter season here starts in April and lasts until October.
