Overall, the yacht is very good — reliable, comfortable, and great for sailing. Although the boat is relatively old, it has received useful upgrades such as solar panels, good batteries (we spent a full week with only one night connected to shore power), a generator, powerful bow thrusters, and air conditioning. We had no issues with the engine or the anchor system. However, the boat does seem to have some known weak points. We experienced problems with the mainsail mast wagons — one broke and another detached on the very first day, only about two hours into sailing. The jib furling system was extremely tight and difficult to operate, even in calm conditions. We also discovered that the navigation lights were not working, although I should note that I did not check them properly during the check-in procedure. Cleanliness could also be improved. There was accumulated dirt and debris in the common areas and in the seams/joints throughout the boat. In addition, when we received the yacht, the mattresses in the bunk bed cabin were completely wet because the cleaning crew had left the hatches open. Finally, the base manager initially tried to charge us for the broken sail wagons, although the issue was eventually resolved after discussion.
