Bay of Biscay is a popular sailing destination in Spain and France. The prevailing wind is from 3 to 6 Beaufort with a direction most often from West. It is a suitable sailing destination for Intermediate and Advanced sailors, as the sea is usually Slight to Rough. The charter season here starts in May and lasts until September.
